Monthly Staggered Registration began 7/1/1980 for new

registrations; Type 3 issued with no stickers 1/1/1980 to

6/30/1980, and with "JUN 81" stickers 7/1/1980 to 12/31/1980.

Monthly Staggered Registration began 1/1/1981 for renewals,

with stickers "AUG 81" to "JUL 82" assigned based on first

letter of owner's surname.  New registrations since issued

same month of next year.
